Adam MacKintosh

Born in New Zealand, Adam took to arts at a young age.
The first obsession came with drawing, in particular - photorealist portraits, which would later lead Adam to pick up a camera.

In 2013, Adam moved to Helsinki, Finland. Feeling a disconnect from his own culture, and a jadedness from years of customer service, Adam purchased a camera and pursued a newfound human connection (and obsession) through Street Photography.

As a Street Photographer, Adam puts an emphasis on connecting with people, choosing to shoot close, and to not stray away from interaction.
With roots within the working-class, Adam also chooses to highlight multiculturalism, and the often marginalised, as a way to ensure all people remain equally represented.

Adams other inspirations include (but not limited to); music, cinema, painting, classic literature, and comedy.

Currently, Adam works as a Tattoo Artist, Photographer, and running a growing YouTube channel showcasing his work from the street, teaching photography technique, and discussing the philosophies of creativity.
